What to see in Penzance

Penzance (Pensans in cornic language) is a British port town located in the Cornwall Peninsula, which has 21 168 inhabitants. It is the largest population of Penwith.

In the city of Penzance, the chemist Humphry Davy was born in 1778, considered the founder of the electrochemistry field, along with Alessandro Volta and Michael Faraday. Davy contributed to experimentally identify for the first time several chemical elements through electrolysis, and studied the energy involved in the process.
